my story

the course has allowed me to explore many different themes, mediums and styles. From a 1st Person point of view television show to a fully playable Spy themed board game, I have experience in many different avenues of creativity and interaction.

Prior to my recent stint at University i have worked in across many different industries across the world. From top 100 law firms, technology and information services to five star luxury hotel brands, working in these companies has given me the knowledge and understanding to consistantly adapt and improve throughout my working life.

Drawing from this experience definitely has helps me work well with others, find common ground and work towards deadlines. being able to bring together the corporate and the creative sides is definitely one of my strengths.

My Style

i spent my early years growing up in kinross, scotland.

My initial degree was in Law and Management from 2009 to 2013. After this I worked in many different industries and also travelled throughout North America for two years until 2018.

The next few years I began working in Edinburgh and then of course the Covid 19 pandemic upturned many life plans. Luckily having had full time work during that time i was never still but I did have a lot of time to think. i decided in 2022 to make a change as i felt that i had a lot more creativity to offer. I attended Napier university as a digital media and interactive design student. and graduated first Class in 2026.

I look forward now to finding a career in a creative industry whilst working on my own creative busienss ideas.

experience

i would say that i do not have one unique style when it comes to design or creating media. i believe that context for any project is important and most importanly for any client work, understanding and clarifying the brief is the most important thing anyone involved in a project can do.

my own personal projects are definitely influenced by the media i have consumed over the years. from the animated tv shows i used to watch after school and on saturday mornings, the movies i watched as a teenager to the books i read now and have read in the past, i draw inspiration from everywhere i can.
